The City of Indianapolis’ Castleton Strategic Revitalization Planning efforts continue with the help of two upcoming public input workshops.
The Revitalization Plan will include visioning elements and strategic recommendations for a 4+ square mile area centered around the Castleton Square Mall. This project represents a critical moment for surrounding neighborhoods and businesses to think forward and help shape the vision, brand, and future investment in the area. As part of an effort to gather the many voices that have a stake in Castleton’s revitalization, the City is holding a series of input sessions for the public. The sessions will include a brief presentation about the project and its early findings, as well as informal workshop-style stations where people can share ideas about the many different topics associated with the project. Topics will include: roadway and pedestrian connections, desired amenities, physical improvements, and the development of a recognizable brand and identity for the Castleton area. City staff and planning team members will be available for questions. No RSVP is required to attend. Both sessions will include the same information.
