Team World Vision raises money for clean water. We go the distance, so others don’t have to go so far. We train for and cover half and full marathon distances, so people in countries throughout Africa, including the Congo, Malawi, and Kenya, can:
• Have clean water to drink
• Go to school instead of walking to get water
• Experience good health
• Have hope and fullness of life
Faith Team World Vision runners have shown enormous dedication as they have trained for the race. They are set to run 13.1 or 26.2 miles at the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon on Saturday, November 3.
Faith Team World Vision includes those who helped with group runs: setting up the stations, planning routes, offering nourishment and water, signing runners in and making sure they return safely. They were especially welcome on the group run that included rain and major lightning storm. We are grateful to Kristie Nave, Andrea and Brian Scroggin, and Judy Edwards.
Faith Team World Vision would be nothing without you! Those who support us, encourage us, cheer us on and contribute are heroes to us and to those who desperately need clean water. Every $50 contributed brings clean water for a lifetime to one person. So far, $7650 toward our team goal of $10,000. We know we can make it. Can you help us surpass it?
You can contribute to Faith Team World Vision on the team page. You can contribute to an individual team member by going to www.teamworldvision.org and putting a name in the search box in the upper right-hand corner. You can also contribute to an individual or the whole team by contributing cash or check to Faith Presbyterian Church, noting “TWV”.
If you want to go far, go together.
We trust World Vision to care for many and use your contribution for the good of God’s children.
Let’s pray for those who run for a cause and cheer them on!
