Ash Wednesday, February 14, we gather for a simple meal and a service of worship. We begin the Lenten journey with soup and bread, shared around tables in the narthex. Then we move into the sanctuary to be called into this holy time of renewal. We begin with confession, receive forgiveness, are marked with ashes (if we choose) and accept the invitation to practices that will deepen our connection to our gracious Lord, liberate us to live abundantly and unchain the burdens we place on others and our world.
